Why, Maze? Why did you just HAVE to get a flat going into the Tech Center parking lot? I wish I could've done something to stop the air from escaping. It was such a horrid sound to hear as I got out of you. I thought only of you during English. As I came up to you after class, my heart plummeted, seeing the tire touch the ground more than it should. I NEED you, Maze. Don't you see that now? Relying on my mother to pick me up and take me to the main campus to attend another class was nerve racking. I rely only on you, Maze, to get me to Clark with an hour to simply people-watch and enjoy the glory of air conditioning, rather than sitting in my mother's SUV with a broken air system. It was 90 outside. In fall. I rely on you, Maze, to cool me when I'm overheated. I rely on you to take me back home after class where I can finally wind down, instead of waiting for my mother to arrive in her oven of a car, and make our way back to you, during the peak of rush hour, wishing to the unseen stars above we would get back to you before the Triple A tow truck does.
And then to have your bright warning light glare at me all the way home? Telling me to check my tire pressure? As I go through the info, I get a little chuckle, seeing the tire pressure is an astounding 1, where the others are 30-32. But why did you have to blink and ding at me when I went down the hill? Going through the info again, the pressure simply said "--". Apparently, you were warning me that I had lost a wheel and was somehow able to drive with three.
I love you, Maze, but today, you drove me a little crazy.
And tomorrow I have to wake up early to get you fixed in time to take you back to school.
And I promise to avoiding using the usual entrance.
Will you forgive me?
I forgive you... I was able to get to class on time.
With love and best wishes,
Megan
