Okay. There's this guy.

Seriously.

Okay, it's a pretty long, interesting story. So get ready.

It's about this guy and my friend, Steph.

No, they're not like that.


So... there's this guy in Steph's art class. God, this was at least two months ago, so I can't quite remember all the details. Steph was watching him carve "pain" into his arm. Yes, seriously; IN this art class. He asked her if she was watching him. She freaked. Because, well, that's Steph... she freaks a lot. So she just ignored him, and looked in front of her. Then he leaned over to her, so that his mouth was RIGHT next to her ear and said "Why are you so quiet?" She claimed that he was absolutely terrifying.

One day, he was sitting in the hall during lunch, and we passed. I tried not to look at him, or make it look like I was doing it on purpose. Steph, apparently, didn't see him. The rest of us told her that he was there and she FREAKED. She tried to see if he really was there, and, seeing him, hid behind us. Then, on our way back, Steph RAN out of the hallway.

For a few days after that, he'd talk to her or something, but she wouldn't say anything back. She noticed after awhile that his other arm said "love."

We'd make fun jokes about Steph's reactions to when he's in the same room as her. Or how he's the only person she's afraid of. How he "loves" her and such. Or how the next day he's going to say "Why did you run away from me?" We found out that his name is Tevin.

Then, on Michelle's birthday, she picked me and Steph up with her truck. Caitlin was with her also. As we got out of the truck, Michelle goes to Steph's side and says something. Suddenly Steph RUNS inside. I'm thinking "What the hell?" When we were in the garage, Michelle whispered to me and Caitlin that Tevin was over at the neighbors house. As she finished saying this, Steph was having a hard time getting the door open so she could run inside.
Steph was absolutely terrified of the idea of going back outside.

He disappeared after that. She said that he was in jail or something.

Then, today... oh God. There was this guy walking on the road thing that the buses go on... about 10 feet away from where WE stood. He looked to be of Mexican-type descent. Something flashed in my mind: "Is that Tevin?" He had a scar from the left eyebrow down to the middle of his left cheek... I didn't remember that. He was looking in our general direction... mainly at me... Then, the scarred eyebrow raised and panic shot at me. SHIT!! He saw me looking at him! I'm so locking my bedroom door tonight.
Next to me, Michelle says "Hey, Steph, it's your favorite person."
"WHERE?!"
Like... 7 feet away.... talking to that Mexican freshman.
I tried to make her turn away, or something, because I knew she'd freak out even more when she saw him. We haven't seen him since Michelle's birthday... Oct. 12. I was looking down, trying to hold in my laughter.
Yep, Steph freaked even more. She hid behind Caitlin and declared to the world that she was hiding behind her. No one would ever find her there. We were all laughing. I would've definitely laughed MUCH harder, but I didn't want to attract more attention. Seriously, I thought I was going to die from holding it all in.

I also think he's a scary person. He definitely doesn't look like someone I'D want to mess with... but then again, I don't want to mess with anyone. Especially not with anyone with a scar down the left side of the face that goes over the eye. That makes him incredibly intimidating. And that raised eyebrow when he was looking at me. Holy crap, I wanted to HIDE. And yes, the first thing I thought when he did it was quite plainly: "SHIT!"

Oh, and I apologize for offending anyone with my vulgar, yet highly appropriate for the time, language.

I'm just VERY slightly more paranoid than usual. Kinda like when you've seen a scary movie and expect someone to be behind every corner. Following you. Yeah... it's kinda like that. But I'm not all that scared, really. It's just what my imagination comes up with that I'm scared of.
