I FINALLY saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (at 8:00).... and it ROCKED!!
It kicked so much ass. The last battle scene was AMAZING. Seriously, throughout that whole battle, my mouth was agape and my eyes wide.

It kicked serious ass.

I could NOT have asked the Thestrals to look better.... I silently clapped at the first sight of them. Congrats.

David Yates, the director (sweet last name), kicks ass, also. Btw, he's also directing the 6th movie. Hell yes! I loved how he cut things up. The nightmare scenes were so nicely done, and Mr. Yates did a VERY nice job at showing the passing of time.

The part where Harry saw Voldemort in a suit at the Hogwarts Express freakin' rocked (It may have helped that I watched When A Stranger Calls this morning... that movie was surprisingly good and scary... the scariness added to the good factor)... it rocked because it was scary.... and after Harry used the Cruciatus (sp?) Curse, Voldy was basically telling him to join the dark side... which reminded me of The Force.... ha.

Umbridge in one word: Bitch. Actress did a freakin' awesome job. Someone who looks SO sweet and comforting on the outside. Kitty plates hanging off of pink walls. Every piece of clothing she owns is pink, or mostly pink.
But beauty is only skin deep.
She is a cold-blooded bitch. I loved how the actress had the sweet voice and smile as stated in the book. But I missed the black bow on her head resembling a fly..... aww man.
What is also funny about this, is that.... this happened AFTER the 5th book came out, I had that shrink, Dr. Umphred.... yes, they both start with "Um," and I remember the moment I saw her name, I thought of Umbridge... and quite often my mind mixes up their names, so.... yeah. My mom does it, too. I told this aloud to my parents in the car, because I almost said "Umphred," and after we got home, my dad said to my brother "You would've liked the movie. You would've loved the kitties in Umphred's office...." my mom and I laughed.


The movie kicked ass... except for ONE thing. The ONE THING that RUINED the entire movie... Dumbledore didn't say a WORD about Neville possibly being who the prophecy was talking about. That bugged the hell out of me.

I wished the movie had Sirius's mom in it... and more Tonks.... I wish it had Ron freaking out while flying on the Thestrals.... I wish it had the bit with all 6 of them crowded in the phone booth... I wish it had that goo bit, you know, the stuff Fred and George made, and there was a little bit that wasn't cleaned up... Aww, well.


Soooo... because of watching such an AWESOME movie, I've been thinking on overload about the book and the 6th book.... and the 7th.
Like the name "Deathly Hallows"..... remember "Gryffindor Hallows"? Yeah, that's where Harry's parents were killed. I remember before I even finished the 6th (which took me 2 days to read... I couldn't sleep after I finished it... very scary mental images....), I knew that one of the Horcruxes was at Gryffindor Hallows... yes, I did.... No, it was just a feeling.
Then R.A.B. the one that took the Horcrux that Harry and Dumbledore were trying to obtain... I swear he's Regulus Black. Cuz remember that Sirius told Harry that Voldy himself killed Reggie or more likely on Voldy's orders? Oh yeah, NOW you remember.

I believe I think too bloody much. I won't be able to sleep for a while now BECAUSE I got my brain works going like 2 hours ago. But once it starts... oh man... I'm screwed. I go near insane. I get really excited when I figure something out, but it's hard to explain my mind process to someone else. I lose them quickly. I have a lacking ability to explain things properly.... not good when you're in AP English. 'Explain your ideas more' or 'More details'... ugh.


My laptop has been scaring me lately. I've had the screen trouble for a while now, but it's getting worse fast. And when I turn it off after it's been on a few hours, the hard drive sounds like it's dying.... it whirls and slows until it's fully off... the first time it did that, this is what I looked like: O_O "Ooooh shit.... that did NOT sound good"
Yes, I said that aloud... but everyone was asleep... well, Matt was in his room... same thing.
But yeah.... I've backed up all my files on disc... well, not all... you don't need system folders, right? So now I've been trying to spend less time on my laptop, but if I am on it, then I don't stay on for too long (3 hours... or 4...)
All I need to do now is take it to a store so they can check on the hard drive.... I DO want to get a new laptop, but it's gonna cost... and I JUST got a beginners bass kit (it has everything you need, including the bass and amp) for $300... and it's my 2-month-early birthday present... so I'm not getting a new laptop anytime soon. And I also got a new battery for THIS laptop (and this laptop only.... thank you, Toshiba *sarcasm*) in.... April? Or was it May? Well, whenever we got back from Disneyland.... and how much did the battery cost? Oh, found it... $140... no joke. I guess we could sell it, though... but we got it via Batteries Plus... so we could sell it back to them... eh... whatever... my dad and I went through a lot of pain to get that battery... and a lot of gasoline... God that was a long day... but a good bonding time for my dad and I: good music on the radio that day.
Okay, I'm gonna stop my rambling...


WHOOO!!! Less than a week until Deathly Hallows is out! HELL YES!!! However, that also means I have to finish OotP and H-BP between now and then.

Well, I do. And I'm not being sarcastic. I seriously LOVE confusing movies. Ones that don't make sense until the end. Movies that are everywhere at once. I love those movies so much.

I just finished watching a movie called "Stay".... I felt like crying because it was so beautifully done. The Director of Photography is a GENIUS. Things throughout the movie made some sense... whereas some made no sense (because it wasn't suppose to), and at the end, the things that KINDA made sense just suddenly made SO much sense and it wanted to marry the movie.

Seriously, go watch it. It's a 2005 movie with Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts... and the KING Ryan Gosling (who also stars in Leland). And... basically... Ewan's character is a psychiatrist... and he is temporarily taking care of another doctor's patient, Henry (Ryan's character). Henry is a "troubled" college student who doesn't know reality from illusion. He tells Sam (Ewan) that he's gonna kill himself in 3 days. While trying to help him, Sam also gets lost between reality and illusion..... It's an AWESOME movie. I heart it muchly. Oh, it is rated R, but it's mostly cussing.
