Ever heard of Karma? If you do good things, good things will happen to you. So, I guess it means if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you. But where's the line that separates the "good" and "bad"? What if you did something "bad" that you thought was "good", and vice versa?
So what if God relies on Karma to do what he wants? Hell, he's been "alive" since forever... don't you think he'd be bloody bored and just likes to fuck up our lives for entertainment? You might be saying "Oh, he would NEVER do that!" How do you know? Just because the bible says so? The word of another is not always correct. Smoke and mirrors theory (courtesy of "What Happened To Lani Garver"): one says that they are telling the truth. That's what they believe the truth to be. But that's not what actually happened. One person believes that someone is being sexually harrased, while the person right next them believes that the same someone is being raped. That's what they both BELIEVE, that's what their mind instantly clicked and held onto. So maybe whatever this Bible is... it might not be the truth. Translation kills words, and can give a different impression in a different language, since they aren't all the same, and there's no words in english that can begin to describe something.
Who even WROTE the bible? what's the bible? Fact, fiction, non-fiction, myth. Hell, an alien might've just dropped it somewhere. It might just be a fake story that someone wrote for children to learn the laws of life... then this "God" and "Jesus" character became legendary.
Ok, people, do you know what a "myth" is? Well, there's this thing called mythology, right? We talk about Greek mythology and stuff.... later in time, the "Christian" stuff is going to be mythology, and a new religion will be born from the dead ones.
So, if God relies on Karma... why a tsunami? Why a terrible hurricane? Why a meteor? Why 9/11? Why everything?! If God really cares, wouldn't there be something done about this? As in: not happen at all. You might say "To punish us". Why does he need to punish you? He doesn't even tell you what you need to do, even if he is your concious. You notice that people who CLAIM talked to someone "supernatural" always end up in a mental institute? Imagine someone today saying that they need to make an ark, because it's going to rain for 40 days and 40 nights... straight to the institute for them (by the way, with the "Noah" thing... did he release a dove, and since it didn't come back, it found land? Or is that just my imagination? Well, if I'm correct with that, how come Noah knew that it didn't die or anything?).
Why is it that when something "bad" happens to a "bad" guy, people think they deserve it, and when something bad happens to a "good" guy, it's too impossible to imagine? Life's a bitch and then you die... nothing's fair, and God doesn't plan out your life for you (Ex. Oh, she's going to look UGLY, and then when she's older, she almost gets hit by a car, and then 2 months later both her parents will die together in a blood bath, and then she'll follow them and GO TO HELL!! *rubs hands together* peeeerfect!! <<<<----- HAHA!! Holy shit that's good!)
Now, this is what I believe... this is what I think.... this is my opinion. Just like how you might this Avril is the symbol of girl power... of course, I actually think that Kittie is.
Ok, "Judith" by A Perfect Circle... lemme just say that the band is AWESOME!!! Awhile ago, I bought the Underworld Movie Soundtrack... and it had "Judith (Reholder Mix)" by A Perfect Circle (Renholder is another awesome band type thing... no lyrics, just pretty noises). This version has no profanity, whereas the other one had a teeny bit (like one word), and a couple of lines taken out, a few put in. I mentioned the song to Micky, and he said that he loved that song. So I decided to check the lyrics, cuz it was confusing me... I read the lyrics to my version and the original. I told Cara that this song has powerful lyrics for me... it means something to me. I wasn't lying to Cara about how much this means to me. I was thinking of this type of stuff before... the whole Karma thing, LONG before I even bought the cd, and had never heard that song before... before I even had the lyrics in front of me to read. My favorite lines are "Praise the one who left you broken down and paralyzed", it has alot of meanings, and I like that.
I think it's incredibly stupid how people who kill themselves are supposed to go to Hell... it's stupid! I know suicidal people... are they are really awesome, too!! They're really great people that just can't really handle life in all it's complexity, hate it, or (of course) just hate the people that live on it. Death is an escape in their eyes... the white light at the end of the tunnel.
I now leave you all with an awesome avatar I found ^_^ (it's hilarious):
