Ok, so last night, Matt, my brother, was really, and I mean REALLY excited to see the midnight showing of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith with our neighbour (Cody) and someone else. My mom made a sort of poncho thingy based on the ones from the movies. So, Matt puts that on, and gets his lightsaber, ready to go. Then, he lost his lightsaber... and me and my dad found it in broad daylight.... Matt was sp excited, it was scary. He was waiting for Cody to pick him up, and he called their house about 3 times in 30 minutes since Cody didn't say when he'd get back, just around that time I guess. This took place around 9 pm. I'm in the living room with my parents watching Alias (I wasn't watching, I was on my laptop writing the post before this). So my brother, being major excited, was pretty much running everywhere. I told him to run around in circles for a minute. You know what he did? He ran around at "the speed of light" aka, he just stood there with his eyes closed.... yep, that's my brother *sigh*. Matt ran to go to the bathroom and get some cd.
Then the doorbell rang.... 7 seconds later, Cody ran it again.... Matt ran to the front door and opened it. From how Cody talked, he was about as excited as Matt. Cody was holding up the tickets saying "I'VE GOT THE TICKETS!!!" Cody said that he was going to go back down to his house to grab something, and asked Matt if he wanted to come.... Response: "SURE!!!!" *runs like hell to the chair 3 feet away, grabs contents (poncho, lightsaber, etc.)* Mom: "Matt. Matt!!" Matt: *turns around* "What?"
I don't remember what my mom said, but I yelled "Don't die of excitement!!" as the two guys ran out the door, slamming the door shut behind them..... Mom: "geez" Me: "They're like kids in a candy store"..... I realize what I said was inaccurate... It should be: kids with ADD in a candy store, already hyper...... yes, indeed. That's how... they were acting, it was really scary.
My dad noted that I was like that about Harry Potter, but that's beside the point. And no, I wasn't THAT excited about Harry Potter.... but almost. And that was just me. This is 2 guys, one 21, the other 18 (I think). You HAVE to admit it's a scary thing to picture.
Oh, and they went to same showing (and cinema) as Mr. Rainey and his wife.
